The object
M104, commonly known as the Sombrero Galaxy, is an edge-on spiral galaxy distinguished by its bright central bulge and a sharply defined dust lane that cuts across it.
Its structure is unusually clean and well separated, making it one of the more visually direct galaxies, where the main features are immediately apparent without requiring interpretation.

This image was processed from Telescope Live data, using an LRGB dataset. The starting point was already strong, which made it more a matter of restraint than intervention.
Processing
Processing was kept deliberately light. The contrast between the bulge and the dust lane is naturally strong, so most adjustments were limited to maintaining balance rather than pushing detail.
The goal was to leave the structure largely intact, making only small corrections where needed, and avoiding the temptation to over-refine something that is already well defined.
